Waste Disposal
Compliant commercial waste disposal, arranged end to end. As a registered waste broker and dealer we classify every business waste stream, appoint vetted, licensed carriers and permitted facilities to dispose of it, and return the full duty-of-care paperwork that proves where your waste went. We manage the process; we do not collect or transport waste ourselves.
What commercial waste disposal covers
Commercial waste disposal is the compliant removal and final treatment of the waste a business produces, arranged and documented from end to end. We take responsibility for the whole chain: classifying each stream, choosing the disposal or recovery route it should take, appointing the licensed carriers and permitted facilities that handle it, and returning the paperwork that proves your duty of care was met. It is the general, overview service — where a stream is a specialist one, the routes below take over.
The streams we arrange disposal for run from general and dry mixed recycling through to food, packaging, paper and card, wood, metals and electrical waste. Where a stream is regulated it is dealt with under the appropriate specialist route rather than here: hazardous and non-hazardous waste for anything carrying a hazardous property, and pharmaceutical waste disposal for medicines and healthcare waste.
Who it is for
Any UK business that produces waste and wants it dealt with properly rather than simply taken away. Offices, retail units, warehouses, manufacturers, hospitality and multi-site operators all use us to put a single compliant disposal arrangement in place. If you have several streams and several suppliers and want them pulled together under one accountable contract, that is total waste management — commercial waste disposal is the building block it is made from.
How it works
It starts with a free review of what you produce, in what volumes, and how it is currently handled. From that we build a proposal: the streams, the classification each carries, the disposal or recovery route we recommend, the collection schedule and the price. Nothing changes until you approve it. Once live, we appoint the licensed providers, co-ordinate collections around your operation, and give you consolidated documentation for every movement. We are a registered waste broker and dealer — we manage the process and appoint the best-value licensed carriers and permitted facilities; we do not collect or transport waste ourselves.
Compliance and documentation
Every stream is classified correctly and given its six-digit European Waste Catalogue code, then consigned through a registered carrier to a facility permitted to accept it. Non-hazardous waste travels under a waste transfer note; hazardous waste under a consignment note. Both come back to you with the carrier's registration, the receiving site's permit reference and confirmation of final disposal or recovery. Your duty of care under the Environmental Protection Act 1990 stays with you as the producer, and our job is to make it evidenced rather than assumed.
What it costs, and what drives it
The price of disposing of business waste is driven less by volume than by three decisions: how the waste is classified, how well it is segregated, and where it goes. Waste sent as one mixed load is charged at the rate of the most difficult thing in it and usually goes to disposal; the same material segregated at source is cheaper, and much of it earns a recovery route rather than a landfill charge. Our proposal prices those alternatives, and there is no charge to review your waste and put the numbers in front of you.
The benefits
Compliant, evidenced disposal. Correct classification and complete duty-of-care paperwork on every collection.
Lower cost. Better segregation and the right disposal route cut the bill, and recyclable materials can earn rebates instead of charges.
One accountable point of contact. We manage the licensed providers so you do not have to.
Waste Disposal — common questions
No. We are a registered waste broker and dealer, not a disposal operator. We classify your waste, appoint vetted, licensed carriers and permitted facilities to collect and dispose of it, and manage the duty-of-care documentation. The physical disposal is carried out by the permitted facilities we appoint on your behalf.
Effectively all of it. We arrange compliant disposal for general and dry mixed recycling, food, paper and card, glass, plastics, wood, metals and electrical (WEEE) waste, and we route regulated streams through the appropriate specialist service — hazardous waste under our hazardous and non-hazardous waste service, and medicines under pharmaceutical waste disposal.
Compliant disposal means the waste is correctly classified, sent to a facility permitted to accept it, and evidenced with a transfer or consignment note — so your duty of care is discharged. Simply having waste taken away by an unchecked operator leaves you, as the producer, liable if it is fly-tipped or mishandled, because the duty of care does not pass to whoever removes it.
